Advertising on AudioKit
AudioKit may display advertisements to support the ongoing development and maintenance of the Service. This policy explains how advertising works and how it affects your experience.
Ad Providers
We may use third-party advertising companies (such as Google AdSense or similar) to serve ads when you visit the Service. These companies may use information about your visits to provide relevant advertisements.
Data Collected by Ad Providers
Third-party ad servers may collect and use data such as:
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Approximate geographic location (IP-based)
- Pages visited and time spent
- Ad interactions (clicks, impressions)
Important: Your actual audio files are NEVER shared with ad providers. AudioKit processes all audio client-side — your files never leave your device.
Cookies for Advertising
Ad providers may use cookies or similar technologies to serve relevant ads and measure ad performance. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings or ad preference centers:
- Google: adssettings.google.com
- Your browser: Enable “Do Not Track” or use incognito/private mode
Non-Personalized Ads
We reserve the right to show non-personalized ads (contextual ads based on page content rather than user behavior) as an alternative to behaviorally targeted advertising.
User Choice
AudioKit will always remain free to use. We will not sell your personal data to advertisers. Ad providers receive only standard anonymized data required for ad delivery and measurement.
Updates
This Ads Policy may be updated as our advertising practices evolve. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.
